harlowmaverick
When I'm sitting in my hide, looking across two large fields towards my 4x4, I get to thinking! Maybe I should camo my broom broom! Now I don't mean real tree it but maybe just throw a net over it or something. How many of you do this? Do you think it's needed? Cosd
Reason? Birds are used to seeing cars, trucks, tractors etc.
Christopher Polumbos
If you were shooting from the same field over a given period of weeks, they might start to associate the truck with danger, but normally it doesn't worry them, they land in the field with the tractor sewing. it's not vehicles that they are worried about it's them blighters in cammo gear! turbo33
When packing up for the day, I've often had the truck between the pattern and the hide whilst I load the gear up, and have still had birds still coming in. Its a silver hilux, so they don't come more obvious than that Sometimes, I've just been sitting on the tailgate having a coffee and they will happily fly past in range, and have dropped them. I think the only thing to scare them off is that face bobbing up and down over the net

Herr Plinker
How about a Sillosock type solution - CarSock - I am sure this could be a new venture for someone on here Must say though a 10ft by 4ft decoy may put off the little blighters.......
