hawkfanz
ive had all of them,,i ve owned and used medallist 12g and 20g,liked them both but theyre not steel proof, which I needed so they have been swopped for new lanber expulsores in 12g and 20g both 3in steel proof,i like these too and get on realy well with the 20g,s which I prefer to use,but I can see the demise of lead shot in the future that's why I swopped them,,so on that basis go for lanber.good luck. jason kaye
Now now keep calm. By the way you are a comedian laurona just my opinion atb Keep calm?? I'm always calm me, why am I a comedian for suggesting a Laurona? better quality than both the afore mentioned guns, never heard of one break or develop faults or rust in 30 years of shooting, but can't say the same for the other two, I can easily guess what you shoot and what can I say a fool and his money and all that

welshwarrior
I've a couple of bust Lauronas here that funny double single trigger playing up. One is having a proper single trigger fitted. The other double discharged to often bloke gave up on it 20 years ago just handed it in to me for parts to free up cabinet space. A three are the same quality to me all have Friday guns a good one of any of them will do you well. Buy on fit and condition not name. Cosd
Just giving the op another option and a better one at that, for the same money or less he can buy a better quality gun than the now bust Lanber or the pretend Browning, if that's OK with you All three are decent guns and pretty much on par in my view, maybe you can elaborate how the Larouna is better than the other two to help the OP.... Chrome barrels inside and out so better weather resistance, (I've seen Lanbers and Medalist's rust within a couple of years) never heard of one breaking or developing faults ,except for the one mentioned above and imo and I've owned all three better quality wood, of course this is only my view, but like I've said having owned all three(2 Medallist's 2 Laurona's and 4 Lanbers, still got a Laurona I know where my money would go, don't get me wrong all three are on the budget end of the scale, but Lanbers and Medallists just a bit more so. Gordon R
I agree with Jason. I would go for a Laurona single trigger. Chrome barrels on the inside and outside. The double locking system looks far more sturdy than the other two. I have owned a Lanber and shot a Medalist. Prefer the Lanber, but put ten of thousands through a Winchester 91 (made by Laurona) - never missed a beat and still no play in the action.
