MPK Custom Calls Conservation award 2014:

This is one for all of is to get involved in !! let's do something positive for the conservation effort for the Mallard, a few clubs in this country have already made a massive effort and I want to help re-in force this. The award gives prizes from myself and Flightline Decoys directly to clubs to raffle off and raise funds for the execution of mallard nesting tubes. It is a 100% non profit exercise. Have a look at the website, get the link and share share share. All the relevant details for entries are on there so if you and your club want to be in with a chance get in contact via the methods stated on the "conservation award button" at the bottom of my website (all rules and regs listed there too)

If you are interested in increasing the prize pot get in contact.

Let's as wildfowlers, shooters and country men/women do something positive and proactive to help the Mallard.

And get applying !!!!!!! Closing date is September 1st

Thanks

MPK

A very worthy cause and I'm not naturally negative but a few of us have spent the last few days trying to stop Mallard from being on a general licence, good luck to you though

Thanks for your comments, although totally unrelated as it's been in the pipeline for a while it has come at a time when realistically we need it most. What a perfect way to counterbalance anything that may happen concerning the general license changes.

It's free to enter and costs the award winners nothing. I invite all Wildfowling clubs to get an entry in and do something proactive in the nesting efforts with Mallard that a few U.K clubs have already had massive success with.

We, as a united front can make a difference !!

We put in 4 nesting tubes on our flight pond 2 seasons ago, this year all 4 have been used and we now have about 35 ducklings hatched.

Excellent, living proof it's well worth doing and I will give 2 clubs with the best plans £150 worth of calls to raffle off and raise funds which, should generate enough cash to contribute towards getting a few more up.

Check out West moorland wildfowlers and what has been done, it gets the numbers up no doubt at all seen it with my own eyes. Lets not side track this to the stupid acts of NE. and BASC complain and state your views on those things though.

Dead right MPK calls! counter acting is out only hope especially if this GL madness all goes through.

They want to kill these birds all summer? Heck lets just breed ten times more if they try it and fix the fools who do not support us as another sepparate issue

Thanks kent, my sentiment exactly ! General licence issues pushed aside let's do exactly that. Make a conscious effort to do something proactive for the conservation of the mallard for a small amount of work and all it takes is a quick plan and an email to me to get things moving. As said it's 100% non profit from our end and well worth doing.

The Westmorland fowlers have done an excellent job and I'm hoping that more clubs with the ability to be able to place these will take up the chance to get some free financing to do exactly that !

Well said Kent!!!

MPK, I know Chichester WA have recently erected some.

I`ll be drawing your superb offer to the attention of their Chairman tomorrow so that they can enter.

Langstone WA have so far struggled to find a suitable piece of water but, when we do WE`LL BE ENTERING THE COMPETITION.

I say that loudly `cos clubs need to actually enter to be in with a chance!

If your club has erected mallard nesting tubes recently, or at any point in the past, and you`d like a chance to win stuff that will ultimately pay for more, drop MPK an email.

IF YOU`RE NOT IN IT, YOU CAN`T WIN IT!!

Matt is`nt clairvoyant either. You really do need to tell him about the great mallard nesting tube conservation work that your club has been doing.

Good luck to everybody WHO ENTERS THE COMPETITION.
