snarepeg
Saw my first brood of pheasants yesterday, about a dozen and could fly 20 yards or more. Ducks 3 weeks ago, pigeon squab 4 weeks ago. Everything seems in front this year?. John
Quickshot
Saw the first ducklings this weekend just gone, were probably a week old though. Yet to see any partridge/pheasant broods. QS

norfolk dumpling
Saw a good brood of pheasant chicks near the Raveningham estate (SE Norfolk) last week. Had to hit the brakes as a dozen raced after mum.
trxnav
Saw a wild clutch of pheasants last sat down at our release pen only couple of days old
norfolk dumpling
Seeing quite a few broods now in Sth Norfolk - a much better reeding year than the last couple. Pheasants about my house largely last years release (a massive commercial shoot surrounds us) so chances of many surviving not good plus too many *****y cats. Konnie
had two constant wet days last week and temp dropped, seeing too many hens about now not a good sign.

snarepeg
Mink. Now have these on the duck pond, these have got to go, had one in the pheasant pen last season, had a dozen that I found before it met a fast load of 6s. There's always something cropping up?
