Konnie
Anyone know of or have any idea how quick release sling swivels can be fitted to a extrema, as the fore end fixing is a flat bit of metal not a stud type !
panoma1
On the xtrema the sling is fitted to a ring that fits behind the forend retaining cap......
Konnie
yes that I know I have one. what I want to achieve is a way of attaching a quick release swivel which requires a stud like the one on the stock.
kennym
i just gonna looking into this for my new section 1 escort, you could do it with an extension mag support with a stud on or as i think i'm gonna do, you could use the flat sling mount you talked about and neatly weld a stud to it, after a clean & polish and a bit of spray paint it should look ok, a job for the weekend I think. fenboy
Why do you need one ? It will take as long to undo the quick release as it will to take off the forend nut .
activeviii
buy a briley fore end nut, there is another one as well but it escapes me. it has the swivel built in to it. just look for AL391 fore end nut.
