Hi,

I've started shooting more and more clays, and was wondering if anyone had any recomendations for eye and ear protection.

Ideally don't want to spend more than £100 between both of them.

any recommendation will be considered and will be very great full for the advice.

I use peltor electronic ear defenders (which my wife bought me, but think they were £70-80), and the standard £5 safety glasses that my clay club sells.

In addition, I also usually wear a hat of some sort. You'd be surprised the number of head bleeds that I've seen from clays striking skulls.

Also always wear a hat now after a 2 inch square lump of clay pigeon missed my head by about 1 foot.

I use shooters aid passive in ear defenders cost £11, they work perfectly. Although maybe you would want electric ones if you were game shooting.

And I ebayed shooting glasses and bought some unbranded ones for £20 with lots of filters etc. they work perfectly and very clear.

+1

I am really impressed with my Howard Leight electronic ear defenders. Better shaped compared to some other ear defenders and dont catch on the stock at all. Safety glasses I got from work and are perfect for clays. I managed to get some yellow lense safety glasses which are great for dull days. No need to spend a fortune
