miffy
Not had time to sort pics from my phone and post any foxing pics just lately but i have a very rare day of work today so i thought i would post a couple of pics from my last 2 foxin sessions. First pic is of 3 foxes and a few rabbits that i shot on the 28th of Jan, i also shot another fox after this pic was taken but didn't get a pic of it as we couldnt find it, despite looking for about half an hour. My mate went back the next day and walked straight up to it, We must have been right next to it and not seen it Next pic was taken a few nights ago and is of 2 foxes that were shot at around 70 - 80 yards, both were head shots. 1 big dog fox and a vixen Next pic was a dog fox shot at about 50 yards and was running away from a hedge that we had driven up to Last pic was shot at about 180 yards and had also been spooked, it was heading into thick cover but i managed to get the shot off before it disappeared

AndyCM
Nice shooting Miffy and a good explanation of distances etc - I know what you mean about finding them in the dark - it's not always easy even with a good mark. JohnGalway
Can never be too many fox pics posted Frank Rotten out here too, no snow which surprised me. Went out for a bit, saw one of my regular foxes, not lamp shy just not interested and given I was lamping, driving, readying rifle etc (with one hand almost frostbitten ) on me tod it doesn't exactly equate to taking quick shots Not even a bunny out tonight, must be smarter than me! Picked up some loose aeroboard that had blown out of a site though, gonna try a small bit of it on the car window next night, caller isn't doing it for them at all lately.
