Berettacocker
You wanted a bit more oomph , range , noise, now you've got it with .17 good choice. Surprised you can still get Hv .22 rds now the .17 has become so popular, bit like the 20 bore ousting the 16!
Alycidon
years ago when I tried a box of Stingers against subbies they were very inferior accuracy wise, but anything hit went down without a twitch as though hit by lightening. A
Salop Matt
Folks what accuracy are you getting with your hyper velocity ammo at say 80yards? I never found a hyper round that would do better than 2.5-3 inch at 40 yards (my zero) ATB Matt
Richo85
Hi Salop sniper. I zero my cz at 50 yards and with the cci velocitors I had every shot within an inch. I'm no way a good shot but my little rimmy seems to be very accurate with most rounds to be honest. A decent scope, good shooting position and be relaxed and your accuracy will come. Out to 100 yards with hv and use mill dots. I normally move up 1 every 15 yards with hv rounds
Underdog
My 9422 does well with most, last two shots with Federal gameshok's were at an estimated 100yds and shooting a 1" pebble or so. First shot hit it and the second went down the side maybe touched it. Off hand. U.
sandspider
HV grouped at around 1.5 - 2" for me, whereas subsonics were more like 1", both at ~70 yards.
Rimfireboy
I used to favour eley HP HV. No longer available though. I get good results from cci velocitors and winchester lasers, but the old eley HV's were every bit as accurate as most subs for me. Many people seem to dismiss .22 HV's these days, but I've always found good use for them and usually carry a few to make the most of the .22's versatility. As for HP subs, I'm finding SK's spot on.
