team tractor
I've got a real problem. I've decided to sell my 22lr so put it on gun watch but was in 2 minds plus the girlfriend said I'll miss it as I wanted it for months in the local gun shop. Today I had an email off gun star about advertising so I filled the form in and uploaded my picture but here's the problem I can't press the submit button :( I really don't want to sell it in my head . I have the slot ready for a .223 and want to buy a howa soon but the 22 is faultless at what it does on bunny I need a proper fox gun to be honest Maybe I'll just stick to my hmr for a while Edited June 3, 2014 by team tractor

bostonmick
if it helps we shot foxes for years with a .22 never a problem
welshwarrior
I would get rid of my HMR before the 22 but I've got rid of my tacticool fun gun a few years ago. But a 22 lr bolt action will always be in my cabinet. In fact I think 22lr 222 and 243 may be a better combination for me than 22lr 17 HMR and 243. bazzab
I have to agree with the others sorry mate. Definitely never sell my LR. I did look at selling one if my rifkes a while ago to get few bob. And without a thought it was my HMR. LR is way to versatile. Runs quiets, subs and HV. For my pennies worth KEEP IT.

bazzab
Simple...... KEEP IT. They cost sod all to run, are so so versatile, an amazing bit of kit.

welshwarrior
If you don't need cash for the new rifle keep it, it won't eat anything if not used there no running costs. If you do need the money you'll always fine another one.

welshwarrior
That's what I would do a Brno or CZ 22 rest into a 223. Semi auto is fun if you still want that a cheap 10/22 does you well.
