TOM'S DAD
them picy`s make me yern for the summer-hope its a good un. Hopefully we will all get some shooting before the summer, Carbine, the weather in our area is far to mild to force the birds on the o.s.rape. I drove 120 miles on Saturday, and didn't find a single flock anywhere I don't like the thought of 3-4 months of no pigeon shooting
Highlander
That's what photos are for...bringing back memories of happier times We've got the birds BUT absolute ******** to decoy. One day works OK the next and it's so b***** wet!

More Luck than judgement , Killer But seriously, several days reccy before you attempt to shoot the field the birds are feeding. Find the flightlines, favourite sitting trees around the field, times of day they flight the field etc.... A bag of 43 is nothing to be sneezed at, so you are obviously doing something right yourself Again, its not all about numbers but enjoying the sport (although a Red Letter day will always be remembered for a lifetime)
