tonker
I put a post up earlier in Guns & equipment about how I had made some corex decoys and thought I'd go and try them. Bloody hell don't they work. I grabbed a pocketfull of carts and off I went. Got to one of the farms, and just stuck the decoys out willy nilly to see if they would pull anything? No hide, no net, so just sat up against the hedge to watch. The first thing I notice was the movement in the pattern with the decoys spining on there metal spikes when the breeze blew, very lifelike. I only took my phone so couldn't take any good pics but i took 25 decoys The Farmer passed on his quad whilst getting the cows in for milking and said that part of the field looked very busy. I was only there an hour and a half and had run out of cartridges. Finished with 7 adult Crows and 2 young ones, and two Jacdaws. Also picked up 2 Crows and a Jackdaw in the next field on the way back to the Disco. (no pics) Well impressed with there performance. So many thanks to all those who have put up posts on how to make these Edited June 29, 2014 by tonker

tonker
Very cheap where did yo get the corex from? I've got a mate who used to put up house sale signs. he sold the franchise on to someone else, but he still knows them. Estate agents change their boards quite often. each board is usualy doubled,so mark out your decoys, normaly 5 per board and cut them out with a fine blade jigsaw. because there doubled thats 10 decoys per sign.I just painted mine with blackboard paint. Ask some Estate agents if they have any old boards.( you can find a lot at night )
