evo
we decided last night to have a pop up to the golf course as a few rabbits had been running amock in a certain area, So as I,m waiting to get my gear ready this little fellow(with no tail) decided he wanted to eat my bird box(silly mistake) he was exactly 35yrds away so I decided to sneak the wolverine B out of its bag and give him a .177 H&N field Target Trophy, safe to say he dropped like a stone, anyway we ( Roger (golfshot) and myself set off , when we arrived at the golf course the carpark was packed as there was a society day on, so we decided to sit in the car and have a brew, then the rain came, we waited for it to stop and decided to go to an area being plagued by rabbits, Roger went one side and I walked to the other side so all areas where covered, the next thing I hear is a thud, roger had dropped the first rabbit, suddenly a rabbit came flying out of the hedge 10ft from where I was lying followed by a huge cat, I nearly had a heart attack, the rabbit got approx. 40-45yrds away and stopped, I aimed pulled the trigger and it dropped , it was one even, we stayed for a couple of hours and had a little walk round and had the odd rabbit as they were not happy with the rain so in between showers we would walk round, we ended up with an even score of 10 rabbits 5 a piece for what was a pretty horrid night weather wise but the company made it feel better, here is a very pleased Roger (Golfshot) with his 5 rabbits,, greenkeeper will be very happy the numbers are coming down now, so back out after them again later in the week cheers Evo
