foosa
Well, after viewing the x bolt and t3 together I finally decided on the x bolt in the stainless fluted jobby, The longer barrel was the deciding factor. Now I don't know if I got a lucky one but I could not separate it from the t3 in terms of build or quality what with the bolt, trigger, crown and finish all being excellent. So how does it shoot? Off a bag on the shogun bonnet I'm getting 3/4 inch groups with 80g soft points, and 1/2 inch using 100g hollow, all factory ammo and out of a new barrel! I am over the moon and well impressed. foosa
It's the new feather trigger the new x bolt have got, breaks clean with no creep, I'm guessing around the 3 1/2 4 lb pull.

mick miller
Mine had the feather trigger but broke nearer 4 1/2 lb. I've hadthat fettled down to a crisp 2 1/4, that and the recrown and I'm back in love with it. They're great rifles for the money.

Will have to get the scales on it now just out of curiosity. Could you see any imperfection at the crown before getting it redone? I know it only takes the smallest of burrs or nicks sometimes to ruin a crown.
