DrBob
Remember these? The Baikal cartridges were crude, noisy and vicious to shoot, what they lacked in technological sophistication they made up with powder volume! Firing them around dusk was spectacular. The Sellier and Bellot was a much better product, cheap but a lot better to shoot. Note the headstamps; neither the USSR or Czechoslavakia exist in the modern world! Scully
I have some of these and the Yellow Wizard and some others. Have you posted pic's? Not working for me if you have.
Floating Chamber
I cut my teeth on Yellow Wizard, Sellier & Bellot and Azot (later Baikal) in 1962! When I could afford them, I used Eley Maximum.
hanky
I used Red Rival and Blue Rival when I was young - Baikal were too fierce and certainly no good for " evening shooting " a bit too bright for my liking and the good old yellow wizard were cheap and good
