Reeceknight
I recently have got some new ground to shoot, most of it is the same as my other permissions exept he has a field of beans going in? Havnt heard much around here about shooting over beans are they any good or a particular good time? drilling etc?
fenboy
Beans can be good when drilled and when cut , very little seems to feed on the plant between those times.
motty
Due to the time they are harvested, beans can produce some fantastic shooting at this time of year. With all the youngsters on the wing, chances of a good bag are high.

rich1985
Shot my biggest bags on beans both over 300 one of the days on drill and the other on stubble. Beans on one of my permissions not cut yet but they are cut on the other, thin field in between 2 bits of wheat, birds on wheat and beans, going tomorrow after work to have a go, got to chose between wheat and beans tho! Going to be hard! May bag bean stubble this instance. You shouldn't go far wrong with beans.
JDog
Beans can give stupendous shooting if the pigeons have found them in good numbers. Don't worry if the field gets cultivated the beans will not disappear. Keep an eye out for up to a month after the beans have been harvested.
