silver fox 1
Has anybody got the 66 mil head on their torch? What difference does it make compared to the one supplied with the torch is it worth spending the extra money on? I have just bought the red pill for mine used to be an IR I must say what a fantastic little torch .just wondering if it makes any difference regards sf1

wymberley
Just longer beam mate worth the money if you want the distance +1 If you find the beam too tight and then find the head is loose on the threads if you adjust it to suit (you probably will), have a look at 'Nightmaster or xsearcher?' Currently on Page 4 of this sub-forum. I've now tried all three heads in the field and it works a treat. Edit: "you probably will" applies to head loose, not necessarily you adjusting the beam. Dougy
I suppose allot depends on the range you are intending to shoot. I use one on my IR set up and have used it for longer ranges at night, night vision Foxing i only go to a normal max of 200 yards with the occasional longer shot. For lamping rabbits with my 22.250 i'll use a yellow or green pill, the beam will stretch out to 300yards to enable ID of quarry.
silver fox 1
Thanks all was just curious as to what the difference would be if it was worth the extra cash. I've been using The night master I have with the red Beam out to about 200 yards on Rinards with no problems so far so good
