Moors Man
Hi Everyone I have now had my SRS light come on a couple of times, if I restart the engine the light goes out so hopefully nothing too major. Has anyone else had this happen or got any thoughts. Thanks Moors Man
Hector Vector
I think you need to get this addressed - it's a safety critical system. Do you know anyone with a Nanocom/Hawkeye/Testbook that can run a self-test on the system to determine if any faults are present? It only takes a minute or two and will put your mind at rest (one way or the other!).
aga man
Under the drivers seat is a yellow wire that connects to a connector block, check the connections are sound as moving the seats can disturb the wires and cause the srs light to come on. Same under the passenger seat. Make sure ignition is off while you check. Worth a try or else get it plugged in as Hector says.
lampro
As above also check behind passenger side air bag you can see this from underneath. I had this problem and it turned out too be the rotary coupler behind the steering wheel these break down over time as you turn the steering wheel cost me £12 of ebay but only found out with a plug in any system diagnostics will be able to check for this fault only nanacom etc will doo hill decent abs traction control specifically for landrover good luck
wascal
It's a bit of a trek but if you are ever near Norwich I've got a Nanocom It would only take seconds to check it out.

Moors Man
Had a look at the connectors yesterday and seemed OK, I think I will see if I can find someone locally with Hawkeye or Nanocam when it comes on again. It took almost a month last time to come back no. Thanks for the advise.
