Beardo
I've just done the 4x4 driving experience at Silverstone which was brilliant. Bloody hairy at points (not the best when you've only had 5 hours sleep). But I learnt loads, really nice instructor. Some very big up and downs and watery holes but the scary bit was driving sideways on the slopes, last nights rainfall meant is was slippery as hell. Shame I couldn't get any shots of the course, but this was my 90...

Fisheruk
Did the Landrover Experience in Wales a few years ago. I felt sorry for those Disco 3's we threw about, but great fun and yes you do learn, even though I've driven off road for 50 years!!
pigeon controller
I did three or four off road sessions at Eastnor Castle in the past prior to some waddie bashing in Oman. We had comms in the vehicles and the instructor behind me kept saying " floor it" as I was in a V-8 defender and I was amazed what you could do. We borrowed a Range Rover on one outing and it was pure luxury creeping round the mud. You obviously enjoyed your day , well done
