Yep, saw your other thread as its title caught my eye....

 

I remember mine having a pig of a bolt release that needed wiggling to release and dont get me started on that choke key/wrench- then agsin I was an uncaring youngster who didnt lube the choke threads as I should.....

Lovely wood and chequering as I remember.

Part ex'd it down swindon way?

I have a 9410, originally on SGC but now converted back to FAC spec. Its a nice gun. If you're willing to ask for a variation for a .410 S1 gun though, just go straight for the marlin or rossi with the shorter barrels. I think the marlin has a 22" barrel and holds 6 in the mag rather than 8.

 

There is no huge advantage in it holding loads of shells and I probably use my 3 shot hushpower mossberg .410 more. Just occasionally though a lever action .410 is a lot of fun!
