nic
For the first time, I was pleased that the skein of 300 plus pinks went over me at least two shots up ..... Seeing as I indisposed with my trousers around my ankles, I would have been a tad upset had I missed the only chance if a shot that day! fenboy
I missed out on what would have been a simple shot at a couple of duck the other week as I had the chest waders down to my knees taking a leak !
nic
If it was just a leak I would have been able to shoot had I needed to ...... But the way this country is now, you can't use guns till the paper works finished :-) Edited November 5, 2014 by nic
anser2
I always recon the duck lurk around the marsh just waiting for you to take a leak or sip a cup of coffee before flying over. It happened yet again to me this morning on the Ouse washes.

It happened yet again to me this morning on the Ouse washes. i rekon pheasents do the same... in my neck of the woods theres not many around but one local farm has a few wondering around and this time last year we went for a walk around and i spent an hour busting for a pee, saying to my mate i know as soon as i stop something will lift.. in the end he stopped the dog from flushing anything and i had my pee, as i was zipping my coat back up two pheasents lifted about 10 yards in front of me... long gone before i got hold of my gun.. was gutted! hadnt shot one then, and still havent
