Birchwood Casey Perma Blue is OK, but I prefer Ballistol Klever. It seems to be a bit more resistant to wear than anything else I've tried, but as already has been said, none of them will give permanently lasting results . :sad1:

klever isnt bad, have used it several times.

birchwood and casey gives a good result if you put the prep time in beforehand, but isnt very resistant to wear or rust.

phillips looks good at first but rapidly wears off, and starts to rust.

perma blue is pretty good, as is abbey gel.

what air rifle is it? as all of the above cold solutions have a slightly different colour to them so may be best to try and get the closest one to your rifle.
