69chris
we all love these dont we but i wouldnt ask if i was sure so...... iv applied for my fac (22lr + 17hmr) and, 'if' it all goes ok, ill be looking for new guns..well, prob s/h but new to me i know we all have our favorites and i dont want to start a bun (gun) fight but recomendations would be good, ill be looking for a semi auto in lr and (obvs) a bolt action for the hmr, i guess what im asking is not whats best, moreover whats best to avoid for whatever issues they might have ?? 2nd, i have a browning maxus which will be surplus if the above goes ahead, its an ex demo compo version thats seen little use, 3.5'' chamber complete with hard case inc spare chokes (4 i think ?) + the 2'' extended one, excellent condition etc etc, what would be a fair price to ask for both the buyer and me, the seller ?? thanks for any input Edited November 16, 2014 by 69chris

Woodlander
CZ 452 style. But hurry, think they've stopped making them, but there's still a few around.
Les*1066
A CZ511 for the semi, if you can find one. Failing that, I would say the Ruger 10/22. They are reasonably accurate, very simple to work on and there are 1000's spares/add-ons etc etc. For the .17 HMR it would be CZ again. robbiep
For 22LR, anything by CZ or Anschutz. My Anschutz 1415/16 is devastatingly consistent - with the right ammo it will consistently put 10 rounds into a 1" hole at 50 metres. The biggest limitation is me.
