figgy
I wouldn't worry, how is all this a good reason to revoke. Don't think the courts would uphold it if they did, think it's why they are just saying it and not doing it. Ignore them, your not socialising with know trouble makers. Could understand if they were right wronguns but being banned from the bloody co-op they taking the wee wee.
Steppenwolf
Talk to BASC about this, it seems like Durham are making it up as they go along. Aren't they supposed to have a new firearms licesing manager? What in the bleeding hell is he doing? Complain to him.
demonwolf444
I'm sorry where do you draw the line. If my friend or mother gets done for speeding? Firearms UK website ( affiliated ) ran a post which now seems really poignant about the complete loss of trust between the government and the people, the police and the people and we are the one's who are tasting it. The shooting community and the police absolutely must have a working relationship, but when its a bad relationship where there is no trust there's no hope. I hope no police hold shotgun or firearms certs.. they might be lead a-stray.. i hear an ocupational hazard of being a police officer that you might come into contact with a criminal. Phoned BASC the minute the police left after the 1st visit yesterday, especially when they said they where returning that evening to speak with my son.BASC didn't seem that keen, and said that the police may have reason(fair enough if he was hanging around with armed robbers os something). They didn't even say, phone us back if anything develops,it was me who had to say shall I phone you back on any developments. Katzenjammer
thought they must have combined as this is the new place for cleveland Cleveland and Durham Specialist Operations Unit, Firearms Licensing, Shared Service Centre, Ash House, 111 Acres, Princeton Drive, Thornaby Stockton on Tees.TS17 6AJ Postal address I believe. The firearms licencing works out of a unit on Wynyard estate near Clipper. Shared with armed response officers the rumour is and that is the linked bit I understand not the licensing. Handy access to major routes in both counties and maybe one of the reasons for all the work on the Wolviston interchange? However I have heard that Cleveland and North Yorks may combine firearms licensing functions. Lets hope this is not just the south of the Tees bit of the old Cleveland with the north of the Tees going in with Durham? Following the old county and force boundary of the Tees. There's a lot of this combined services going on. Edited December 12, 2014 by Katzenjammer
