cloudwalker
Our numbers are definitely down and have been decreasing over the past few years. We would usually average at least 20 in a days ferreting with some bags of 40. This year we have been lucky to get double figures
Alycidon
2834 See page 7 under 'Vermin control' I am also in Northants, not seen a rabbit for some months let alone shot one. 20 years ago I could take 50 in an evening with a 22LR. I drive most evenings untill about 9pm covering a radius of about 25 miles from Northampton, I very very rarely see a rabbit. Cherish what you have as you will miss them like hell when they are gone. Salop Matt
Down right now, rarely see a bunny now! I fact I may go to pets at home tomorrow to remind myself what a bunny looks like !

evo
on one of my perms the numbers are down,or seem to be but I think they are staying low of a night,,on another perm they are all over the golf coarse so some serious shooting to be done in the next few weeks and on another perm there are plenty but the main group has moved 1/4 of a mile up the same field,, all new burrows have appeared and the old ones are not being used anymore, and on another perm it has contracted mixi so will be sorting that perm out as well to stop them suffering, overall on my perms I have noticed an increase except for the mixi one atb Evo
Nmb
On our 1500 acre syndicate ground we hardly see a rabbit. When out lamping we see more badger and foxes than rabbits. I'm only 24 but even I can remember shooting 40-50 a night easily. Don't understand why there are so few.
