.007
After all the bragging about cracking the usa, it failed and lads over pond design a better unit http://www.nitesiteusa.com/products-nightvisionscopemount/dark-widow-venom-x
keg
Is this the same spec as Nitesite uk at a similar price? looks similar to me.
Dave-G
Seems to me like Nitesite has opened a USA dept - and possibly introduced their new model over there.
.007
Seems to me like Nitesite has opened a USA dept - and possibly introduced their new model over there. nitesiteusa had too many issues with the uk products, so they took on another design in the usa called `dark widow` on the grapevine it says nitesiteuk took nitesiteusa to court over some matters !!! evo
not very surprised as nitesite units seemed ok at first but are basically overpriced carp that are only hyped up by certain air rifle users on the web,, everyone I know has sold them and are now using another type,,totally out does the ns50 + 200, but hey he who spends his money
.007
evo, nitesite uk made out they might go bankrupt to judge in the court room teamwild, verminhunterstv failed in there conquest of the nv market....... although kids might buy em
evo
I bet both the above mentioned received there freebies to promote them, everytime they spoke it was nitesite this and that,si pittaway must of had a shed load off them, if they sold them for half their retail price they still would of made a killing, just glad I never ever bought one,,did use my mates and was not impressed at all

robbiep
For all the panning that they get, I find my NS200 perfectly adequate (2nd generation, with the stock pouch battery). I can switch it from my air rifle to my 22LR, or even to my 223. It gives a good pic of foxes out to 200 yards, allowing for clean shots at 100+ without any problems at all. It's great for ratting or rabbiting on the air rifle, and fantastic for rabbits on the 22LR. The best bit of all : it cost me the bargain price of £275, from someone who was moving abroad and giving up shooting. I'm sure that, compared with the thousands of pounds that can be spent on some gear, it's nowhere near as good. But it is a tool, and it does the job I need it to do, perfectly adequately. evo
the ns200 is a good off the shelf jobbie ans as said does nearly what it says on the tin,,but what lets them down is the price,,the ns50 is a joke for what people pay ut at the time nothing was about to compare with it,, people are now building their own and prices are falling for night vision and they are far superior kits now and for a lot less money For all the panning that they get, I find my NS200 perfectly adequate (2nd generation, with the stock pouch battery).
