bicykillgaz
Hi guys, Ive been offered a redfield revolution 3-9x50 with accu-range reticle, just after opinions off people who have used them. What are they like in low light and for lamping? I've got a little minox on my .22lr at the minute which is fine so don't want to mess with it if it's not gonna be an improvement. steve_b_wales
Never used one myself, but have heard good reports about them from those who have. I've also looked through a few at my RFD's shop, and, for the price, I was impressed. The one you have been offered is retailing at £257.00 (Sportsman Guncentre)

Loki
Hiya For what it is worth I am pretty sure Minox glass (Schott?) will outdo Redfield any day unless talking 'whispers'........... I have 2x Minox sitting on the shelf awaiting swapping out from Shepherd scopes - but cant justify the hassle of 'swapping out' as the Shepherds (1x0.243W and 1x 0.270W) have worked for me all these (20 odd) years........ jimmyb79
I have the 4-12x40 with duplex reticle. Pretty good in low light, and a friend has the x50 and can't fault either. Good scope for the money, made by leupold in the US. Really nice scopes for the price point I think.
bicykillgaz
Cheers guys sounds promising, I've bought it but I'll have to try them side by side and make my mind up which I'm gonna keep. It's got some light scratching to the paint work but rest of its mint.
DiddyDave
It's my understanding that Leupold make/own Redfield scopes. I could be mistaken but I'm 99% sure I heard a review on them state just that
clakk
there is some of them advertised as leupold, redfield scopes on amazon us, and ebay us.and yes u are correct redfield are owned by leupold.ive got 1 of each and they are very very good value for the money.imho the leupold has the edge ,its just better all round .but theres nothing wrong with the redfield it does the job on a budget .atb
