ARobz
I need some advice in organising a team charity clay shoot for a group of farmers and others. Some will be experienced, likely to be a few novices too. Assume 8 teams of 4 (not sure what typical team size is). How many clays per person/ team, how long should it take and how much should it cost? Don't know much about clay shooting myself so will need to find a suitable venue, or someone with experience, insurance, equipment etc..to run it. Can anyone advise on this and also suggest a venue, between Bridgnorth and Wolverhampton.? We are farmers ourselves so could hold it on our premises. rbrowning2
You have several issues to get sorted, like insurance and section 11 excemption to name two if you go for the DIY shoot. But I am sure another member will be able to give you far more detail. Simple would be to find a local clay ground and book an event with them. Welcome to PW. Westley
It may just be easier to contact one of the 'simulated game' days organisers. I did attend one in West Lancs that was arranged through ProMatic traps. They also had a caterer to do lunch. At least that allows you to just keep the guests happy, knowing that someone else has the shooting bit in hand.
Keeperchris
We could offer a mobile simulated game day that's comes to you. Pm me for details or your number and I will get in touch. Thanks Chris
ARobz
That sounds like a good option if I don't get anywhere with some local leads. Thanks.
