FOXHUNTER1
I was out yesterday morning first light with Grasshopper on his ground to try for a roe doe. Conditions werent great as there was a hard frost and the ground underfoot was very crisp.... I stalked as quietly as I could down a banking and approached a little clearing where I saw 2 roe skip across The follower decided to stop so I got positioned on my sticks but as she was a good 140 yards away I couldnt keep steady on the sticks.....,my heart was pounding as I tried to control myself . I took rifle away from my eye , regrouped and released a round , this was after a couple of minutes, and was pleased to see her drop on the spot The shot was high but I was glad she died instantly with a spine shot......
