Clc0608
By far the largest ground I've shot at and the variety of stands is mind bending, definitely worth a visit. Only downside is that you need BASC insurance and a SGC to be able to shoot there which makes it hard to take friends. If you plan on going again in the future, post up details on here and you might get some interest from some of the local chaps as you say its a very good ground, tad on the expensive side but a good day out BB
throttlemonkey
Nice, I love to wander around the stands there, can be a bit of a shock when it's te to pay though!
brett1985
so how does the pay and play work then? do you just register and then it counts the amount of clays you have had, then you pay for the clays? or something different? throttlemonkey
Hand over sgc and insurance, register on first visit. You are given a plug which records clays launched, when u finished go and pay simple. Remember any no birds and which trap they will knock them off the final tally. I think 38pence per clay fibre was only.
Dunkield
Those with long memories will recall the PW afternoon out we had there years ago....

Clc0608
38p a clay - i nearly spilt me tea!!!!!!! Yes, it's not the cheapest. Compared to the other grounds I go to it does have the best facilities and the largest number of stands by far I. Nice quality video what camera did you use and how is it mounted, thanks. Rb Thanks, I used the new GoPro Hero it's the new base model and at £99 I'm pretty impressed with the footage. For the video above I used a head mount I got of eBay for £5 but I was given a GoPro Sportsman mount which at £52.99 it's a tad on the expensive side but I'm getting good footage with that as well.
