Floating Chamber
It will become more expensive when your extractor breaks in two! Were they fibre wadded?

rbrowning2
going back some time but a friend had exact same problem, in I think same gun and I think it was a damaged o ring such that the timing was wrong and the gun was trying to extract the case before the breach pressure had fallen away to zero. May be worth checking, if not then sounds like fault is with the eley carts.

Hi I was using a OU When the problem occurred The problem is with the cases in my (worthless really) opinion I would however advise anyone thinking of picking up empty 410 cases for Reloding to check the eley ones very carefully All the best Of
rbrowning2
Ok thanks old farrier, I was referring to the first post Remington 1100, does not sound good if you are getting the same problem with OU. The little .410 case does take a hammering and you offer sound advice re reloading, in fact it was the high reject rate of fired cases in .410 that made me move over to a 28ga. Ugb25
Hello all I shot the remington 410 again today and it was a bad o ring that had caused the problem it seems maybe that it wasn't allowing the breach pressure to drop before trying to extract the cartridge
littlerob
Ive shot hundreds of eley trap and both my hushpower the pump and single shot never had a problem with them I also find the 2 1/2inch 12.5g shells in 7s very good also shoot the fiocchi range 3inch is fab but the fiocchi 2 1/2 are louder for a odd reason

If I survive I post the pictures All the best Of
