younggun86 Posted March 19, 2007 Report Share Posted March 19, 2007 I use a Remmy 700 Mountain Rifle in 243, S & B 6 X 42 & Remmy 100grn Core Lokt ammo. how do you find these rounds, i gave them a go through my tikka, i didnt find they were as accurate as federals. but my biggest issues was that i had a miss-fire with a core lokt round. when i emailed remington i had no come back, so decided not to purchase anymore. have you had any issues with them. younggun Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

He came from down Hereford way and is very well bred from working German Bloodlines, I can get you the contact details for the breeder if you are interested. Thanks for the information. They are about the same size as Red's H&H, but the main difference is they look like they are frowning when you look at the head on. Well done :( Had a longish drag out through a muddy wet field so in the interest of keeping it clean it was gralloched after the photo, only a quick ride back to where it was gralloched. He will be dressed this week and appreciated by a few no doubt. Find the Core Lokts OK for my needs, never had a misfire and they shoot around an inch or so at 100 yards out of my rifle so fine for Stalking needs. A fine beast, Bowland? How are they doing in that area, I had ben the told the population had been shot hard and are now difficult to get on terms with. It would be nice to have a few on this side of the Pennines.
