Hi all.

As you've prob seen I have a couple of rifles for sale.

Which has resulted in a nice chap asking about sending rifle as he is fair distance away.

Can I ask if anyone knows how it works?

Prices, etc?

Many thanks

Bazza.

You take the rifle to your RFD , he charges you £25 -£40 enters it on his register and your FAC, posts it to their RFD who charges £25-£40 to transfer it to the buyer .

So in essence you are selling to your RFD they are buying from their RFD.

They arrange the carriage but the cost is included in the £25 - £40 or whatever they charge.

When you take it to your RFD he puts it on his register and Takes It Off of your FC then arranges despatch to your buyer's nominated RFD who then transfers it onto your end buyer's FC.

If you are going to do it by the rules the person you are selling to should send you his ticket, you fill in the appropriate bits and send it back the sent the rifle to his rfd. the buyer goes in the the rfd who checks his ticket and hands over the rifle. As you are selling the rifle not the rdf.
