i use 2 fenn traps under an old bit tin sheeting bait in the mid, fenn at both ends, they have to get past the fenns to get to the bait had 18 over the winter on our water

We were asked by the rivers authority years ago to help trap mink; I think they were given our details via BASC, but I may be wrong. Anyhow, they had rafts for us which we anchored to the river bed in slack spots on which was a square of clay, rolled out flat. When mink prints were identified we would then put out baited traps, the same live traps Jerry uses for squirrels.

It all became far too time consuming for most of us, and when it became obvious we were expected to do it for free and none of us would get paid, everyone lost interest and the RA moved on somewhere else I assume.
