I have 2 cockers, litter sisters and now in thier 5th year, good solid workers, do as I ask and willing to please. They both have their bad habits and both have good traits, I'm not kidding myself thier no where near a trialling standard but they do a job for me and I wouldn't have it another way. Would I take the plunge and take two on again? No I wouldn't, time and effort did take it's toll at times I though I'd bit off more than I can chew but looking back it was a great experience.

Don't know what to make of it really, thought PAC would have shown more intent in the first few rounds but couldn't adjust, he rocked him on a good few occasions and threw some good combinations but wasn't getting through mayweathers defence. He didn't have a plan against his jab and right hand only trying to force him against the ropes, which is why mayweather I guessed danced around. Mayweather did a job nothing more nothing less, he's built his career around his counter punching, boring infact very boring but master class none the less.

Went out last week on the pigeon and Corvids using the gamebore super steel 32gr 5's and had good results tumbling most that flew into the patern of decoys, today I was out again with a friend, due to work commitments I asked him to get the same as last week but the only steel they had were the hull hv steel 32gr 5's, today was poor, for example I made three good shots on the bounce at crows that were a very good distance out, some Ferals and jackdaws came in and they were killed with ease how ever quite often the wood pigeons that came into the decoys didn't go down even with the biggest blow out of feathers I was sure they were done but flew on as Normal, I thought it was just me but my shoot buddy had the problem also? Maybe we weren't getting the pellet strikes on target but the feathers that blew out would suggest other wise, the dog was sent out incase they had fallen behind but nothing. Is it possible the shot were passing straight through the pigeon? I won't be using these again but I can't see it being the carts and surely it's my shooting. Gaz

Ab braithwaites in cheadle is a good shout in stockport ( cheadle) although not the biggest selection, avoid cheshire gun rooms in stockport or as said malmo is worth a visit.

Agreed I'm not entirely sure what the land is cleared for fac wise, I shot another the other day all dropping with 3.5" cart and haven't been back since, they've took to another field which I haven't got permission on so so far so good, my freezers full, I'm just not a big fan of dumping things I've shot, head, neck and legs kept rest goes just seems a waste to me, wonder if the local gamekeepers would want it for the kennels?
