loriusgarrulus
Not heard of this with a dog. Only with a bitch with damage from a spay operation. Is the dog very submissive or nervous, as youngsters often pee when nervous or over excited. Other possibility is some sort of kidney or urinary tract infection. loriusgarrulus
The other possibility is to put a dog belly band with pad on him till he learns to stop doing it. Have used one of these on an older dog we rehomed who was difficult to house train till he got the idea. You can get them off eBay.

WGD
Peeing as in emptying his bladder, or peeing as in sprinkling a bit when excited… which is an occupational hazard with spaniels! If he's unknowingly urinating vets asap.
Blackbart
Like wgd says.....spaniels and peeing is about the norm, they dont all do it but lots do, when they are excited , scared, nervous, getting told off, getting praised, etc etc etc a bit of pee spraying is just what a lot of spaniels do
bigbird
Peeing whilst a dog is lying down in its bed isn't normal
Blackbart
Depends what it is doing in its bed, if it is ljust lying there and asleep then no that is not normal at all, but if it is lying there looking at you and wagging its tail in that " I am just about to pounce out of here and do fifty circles of the kitchen " stance then yes they can sometimes wizz a bit.
