Jbob
Following my application for a FAC and renewal of my SGC, I had my interview today for the FAC application. Seemed to go ok I think. Well her departing words before "good to meet you" where " I dont seem to think there will be a problem granting you a FAC". I think the cup of tea and my 20mth old daughter sat at the other end of the table smiling through a cream cheese sandwich helped lol. Wasn't as terrifying as I thought it would be. All looks hopefull, so just need to wait for Dev and Corn Police to process the final bits. Still I'll be even happier when the bit of paper arrives then I know its granted. Jbob
jam1e, I applied for .17 and .22 both with mods. Kept it simple for my needs, mainly vermin control on my dads farm and another permission I have got. Keeping my eyes open know for a .22 but not going to move on anything yet till I have the ticket in my back pocket.

Carman06
Good luck. I too had my FEO visit for coterminous grant of FAC & SGC last Friday. Seemed to go ok was quite quick only about 30 mins. Basic questions and seemed more like a form filling session. Quick look at cabinet and that was it. Just wandering how long before I hear now. I'm in Lincolnshire so not expecting anything quick. It's been 12 weeks since submission. What's the timings like in your area?
Marksman1997
I applied for 3 in my initial Grant. Shotgun, Air Rifle & .22! A good friend of mine got a air rifle, shotgun, 22lr, .22 hornet and .222 all in initial Grant! Said he had a good reason for needing all of them!! keg
A sensible choice to start with but......... and here is the most important thing...Did you offer the FEO chocolate Hob Knobs? the proper Mcvities ones? If they were Asda own brand or the plain variety i'm afraid you are doomed. Welcome the mad world of PW.
Jbob
Keg - They only wanted a cup of tea thankfully, I did have some homemade iced buns in the tin as back up. It all a waiting game now, she suggested on the phone when arranging the interview it could be about 8 weeks. Two of which she's on holiday. The Mighty Prawn
It's a funny one isn't it, I compare it to driving test as so much hinges on that one encounter and if it goes well some magic paper arrives and fun time begins!!
Jbob
Hopefully in the coming weeks the fun will start. Till then I am still on clay shooting with me shottie 😊
