deadeyedick
I don't know what voltage it is! All I know is it is 1 million CP. Lightforce probably do the best however they are expensive.
rabbit hunter
Go to a motorcycle specialist shop. Buy yourself a 15amp Wet Cell Battery, it will cost you around £25. Get an old plastic oil carton, cut the bottom off it at the height of your battery, clean it out well. Wrap some sort of packing around the battery so it dosent wobble about the carton, put battery in carton. Now you can either attach a belt onto the carton or a shoulder strap (shoulder strap reccomended) Cut the cigar/jack plug off the end of your lamp, bare the cables, get some crimp lugs and crimp the cables into them. Secure with some insulation tape, attach to terminals on the battery using the nuts and bolts that you should be provided with. Jobs a good 'en. Just dont tip the battery upside down because acid may leak and destroy clothing. The lamp that i bought from "clulite" had like a light switch on it, but I am used to using one with a doorbell switch on it, so I cut the cable where it comes out the lamp, attached the live wires to the switch, taped the neutrals together, and taped the switch onto the lamp. Deako
don't bother with anything other than re-chargeable sealed batteries, the liquid ones will destroy your coat within a week. A good, new battery costs very little really.

Deako
Red, Quite the opposite, for a customer to buy a single battery from us would be VERY expensive. The postage charges would be prohibitive for such a low value order. Just good advice to save the guy from wasting his money.
rabbit hunter
MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM "CRIMPED" battery terminals = sparks lead acid batterys produce HYDROGEN !! need i say more I dont know if i am reading this wrong, or you read my last post wrong. I crimp the lugs onto the cable from the lamp, then Securely fasten to the battery terminals using the nuts and bolts provided. I dont like the cigar plugs because they keep falling out, and you lose power for a few seconds, but that few seconds could be the few seconds your dog is running flat out towards a dyke-back as i say, i dont know who's picked this up wrong, so dont take offence by me replying with this answer
