Tony Morris Posted May 12, 2015 Report Share Posted May 12, 2015 After a leupold scope 250£ max.pm me please I recently bought a rifle with a faulty 'Leupold' scope on it and when I contacted Leupold to see if it could be repaired they told me it is counterfeit. Their reply below: "The scope is a counterfeit from China. They are so tricky these days that there is not a one tell all. If you see the serial number 8888SC or a scope with Red AND Green illumination they are fake! . Best to just contact us with the serial number and we can verify it for you." Until now I had not thought about counterfeit scopes, on TV is is often jeans, trainers, T shirts and so on. I hope you find a nice one. Regards, Tony.
