Keith RW
Just purchased a pair of Browning T-Bolts, one in .22 and the other .17HMR, Could any owners out there of the same tell me what their findings are with regards to preferred ammo, not a great deal of choice from my local RFD unfortunately and came away with Remington subsonic hollow point for the 22 and Hornady V-max for the 17. Not set the 22 up as yet but had a zero session at 50yds with the Hornady and seems pretty much ok at that range straight out of the box, will be testing longer 100yd when next get chance as was up against the wind and fading light last night. As usual cheers for any input regards, Keith
srspower
I find CCI rounds perform extremely well in my .22lr t bolt in fact better than I can shoot! Also the hp subs hit the exact same place as the more expensive jacketed segmented subs which is handy. The stingers just go a mil dot higher at 50 metres. Blasers shoot well in it too. dob
My .17 seems to like Hornady v max but some folk say that there t bolts like remingtons.
geordieh
It is totally irrelevant what other peoples rifles like they could like totally different ammunition just try and get a few different types and try them out

BSA-airgunner
i get good results with winchester subs in my 22 t bolt but as said different rifles may like different ammo...im pleased as the winchester rounds are some of the cheapest.. srspower
i am pleased with the accuracy I get with CCI subs at 50 metres, the only thing that could make my groups smaller is a trigger job. Unfortunately the T-Bolt really needs one imo.
Keith RW
If I can get a hold of a new T-Bolt trigger assembly to experiment with then I will be looking into doing just that.
Keith RW
My .17 seems to like Hornady v max but some folk say that there t bolts like remingtons. Was told by RFD this weekend that both are manufactured by CCI so should be no difference..... either way I picked some up to try

By the looks of things it would be cheaper to pick up another rifle to have a play with as a complete trigger block works out at about the same.... might have to put in for a variation for a second .22 as the rifles are great just let down by a heavy (too heavy) trigger

But a good gunsmith can polish the sears to make it lighter, you don't need an entirely new trigger kit.
