Big Al
Think you made a wise decision Ordinarily I wouldn't have looked twice, but I had to go and shoot it well! But, as they say, the day you buy is the day you sell.
Hamster
I don't believe Blaser have ever done a multi without flared barrels ends so it must have all been chopped off prior to being re-threaded, that just has to mean the barrels are now somewhat less than 30", perhaps someone with a Blaser could measure the flares ?! V8 90
I've owned a Blaser Supertrap & can't understand why or how anyone would chop the flares off & re multi choke it - I just can't visualise how it would work
Gordon R
Saw through the barrels before the flared part - effectively removing the original choke area, which had been damaged. It is then just like any other fixed choke gun, which Nigel Teague converts.
Big Al
I was told by rfd that it was 32" cut down to 30 ". I didn't measure it so it could well have been less.
V8 90
I'm sure it would have been less + how was the bottom barrel attached to the top 1 - the hanger & its carrier are formed/attached to the top choke tube & the rib adjuster also is part of the top choke tube ?
