jonny thomas
I don't have an ou but my sxs has one big advantage over my semi that is my boys won't go anywhere near it whereas I rarely get to use "our" semi Supposed to be rough tuff rugby players and they're both scared of my old sxs
Tomk282
Was given a old spanish SXS by my uncle due to him getting rid of his license, the things worth about £50 and looks like ****.But christ i shoot alot better with it than any other of my guns, Its so light its just a point and shoot gun! I was planning to dispose of it before shooting it but now its out with me all the time
Old Boggy
Having shot SxSs all my life and now have an O/U as well, I tend to shoot a little better (for me anyway) with the latter when flighting pigeons (cannot afford driven these days on my pension so high pheasants don't come into the equation), but for walked up and more instinctive shooting I think the SxS reigns supreme, due to its lightness and ability to get on the target quicker. Also, I find that the SxS is easier to reload in the hide, but I suppose it's all done to personal choice in the end, so who am I to say ! hoggysreels
Ive both OU & SBS ... I'm selling my OU. Personally l shoot best with a 12 bore Webley single (which has contributed zilch regards the OU / SBS debate. Regards double barrels, l favour SBS .. each to their own me thinks ...
