steve_b_wales
Is it only RFD's that can legally send a firearm to another RFD? The reason I ask is that an RFD friend of mine wanted to send a rifle to another RFD, but because he's not a member of the gun trade association, couriers like TNT will not collect it, according to him. saddler
Anyone can post a firearm, but ONLY IF the addressee is an RFD. You cannot mail it to the certificate holder directly.
welshwarrior
The issue is you have to use an approved courier ie TNT, Parcelforce. Now if your a trade member of the GTA or BASC you get a discounted rate. TNT rate for none GTA members is £60 when I got a quote as they deem them as dangerous goods. So yes any RFD can but you need to find a carrier.
CharlieT
Always used Parcelforce without problems.
steve_b_wales
Always used Parcelforce without problems. Strange that. According to their website , unless its a low powered air weapon, all other firearms are prohibited.
