Dont really want to use rat killing bait because of the dog being in the garden try this, get a small tin of cat food, put 1 or 2 holes in it, and leave it where the rats will find it, and where you will get a good shot. the ******* wont be able to get at the meat, but if you ara quick you should be able to knock 1 or 2 of the **** off.
