Pistol p
It's systematic failure on behalf of the French government. It's a lot more rife than our financial corruption over here.
amateur
Well, after all the hype in the papers whilst we were away, I was a bit concerned as to what we would find as we drove into the Calais Euro-tunnel terminal this afternoon All operating as normal, just a 20 minute delay to our crossing (as I say - normal) No evidence of any potential immigrants or French strikers. However on the other side of the Channel, Kent traffic poilce out in force with the M20 closed and traffic backed up as far as Maidstone. So what was all that about? Just to change the subject, as we were driving up the Route Napoleon in Southern France, we came across several of the standard "Beware of wild animals on the road" sign - you know, the one with the leaping deer on it, but the twist is, the deer were blindfolded with red scarves! After Lyon the signs changed to the standard Brit - type sign of a deer. Surely the Southern French can't be blindfolding their deer? I know that the southern continentals have a reputation for being unsporting, but this surely takes the biscuit? ps Tried to google a picture but failed
