wymberley
Got to the lake to see a guy struggling with his landing net. Eventually with both of us pulling in opposite directions we got the handle to extend. As it was brand new - first time out - he figured it was just plain stiff. Two hours later, I saw him struggling again. This time, I'm on the other side of the lake so can't help. I could see it was big and after a right old ding dong he got the rainbow on the bank - all 15 lbs of it. Strolled around for a shufti later, "'ere", he said, "you seen my net?" The handle had snapped completely in half. Not good.
LancsLad45
I snapped the handle on my net cause I tried to lift the fish in the net by the handle instead of by the net.
Dunkield
I have a few bits of Snowbee tackle, I have always been impressed with the quality for the money. I 'heart' my Geo 3/4 weight Reel
Bazooka Joe
I like Snowbee gear, I recently need to get in touch over a snapped section of a rod I bought, but didn't use for over a year. Long story, but ended up with another rod, customer service was excellent, & email correspondence good.
wymberley
I also rate the Snowbee range - see the 'Kennick Killer Fly' thread. The handle was extended to reach the water some 3' below the bank. At this point it's not possible to get hold of the net - unless you wish to join the fish! Plus the guy was a pensioner so not superbly nimble. Shouldn't have snapped as it didn't take the whole weight of the fish as it came up the bank. Westley
I think he can rest assured that Snowbee will sort it though. I have had several parts for my Prestige LA reels and their Customer Service is fantastic.
