Rupert
On mine, a cbr, there were some bolts at the front of the tank behind the ram air I think is it like this? http://www.bing.com/images/search?q=honda+vfr+tank&view=detailv2&&&id=56C783C1B854A1F91505DFD5F2E807E567767292&selectedIndex=13&ccid=VsU4dbSU&simid=608015010075050284&thid=JN.6qZht3aG2fBrIjGwZa4v1w&ajaxhist=0 shows fixing tabs to the side Edited July 5, 2015 by Rupert

Paddy Galore!
done it there's a sleeve that runs through where the bolt goes, this was stuck in one side stopping the tank moving, air filter is cleaned but still got a spluttering problem though, has anyone had problems with dodgy fuel lately? the bike was running fine before I filled up, there's no rust in the tank so I doubt there's any gunk in the carbs that's been washed through. I was thinking of draining the tank and filling up with some high octane, any thoughts? it's been sat for a while but under cover. maybe new plugs might help but the front pair are a freakin chore to do. cheers, paddy
James1983
My GSXR had been sat for a while before I got it and it was running a bit rough. Went through the cheap things first and then changed the plugs and ran like a dream after. Be worth changing them anyway least you can rule that out

Paddy Galore!
But boring ;-) au contraire rodders, I've had several, none were boring, although I guess it's how you ride them that makes the difference. Jay_Russell
Id try the fuel route first then change the plugs if decent fuel doesnt improve it.

I can hear by the engine note that it seems to have done the trick so time for a test drive tomorrow will confirm either way cheers for the advice and chat guys.
