I shot DTL for years with a Remington 1100 field, 28" 1/2 choke. won the English Open Single Barrel once with 100 straight and 25 in a shoot off. shot for England. Never occurred to me to get a trap gun. To prove a point i once shot a 100 single barrel competition with a 26" skeet gun, shot a 96. Too old now.

Well I had a go during the week, 20/25 with my sporter!

Was pretty pleased with that after 1/2 a dozen clays to start as practice. Went out a bought a Browning trap gun with a higher rib next day, not tried it yet but be interested to see if it makes a difference. Love DTL tho, also found a place to try double trap and auto ball trap!
