You will need to be quick on the trigger, shooting between the tracks ;-0 .

Cant you find out where ghey come from and stop them in a more shootable area. That's what I'm having to do at the moment as the keeper's spotted cubs around his rearing pens and doesn't want me shooting next to them.

Yes, I can recommend those. You may have to join another rope to the existing one dependant on girth of tree but they are strong and very stable; have never felt it wasn't up to the job. They aren't as light as they look, but can still be carried by one man so long as you're not going too far, bearing in mind you'll have your rifle etc.

I have the bush wear one and it's very good, but as stated, only 2.5 metres tall, whereas a standard high seat is 3.5-4.0 metres tall

Some of them use a telescopic ladder type mechanism, which is a bit bendy when extended, better ones use the folding frame mechanism
