viking
this is one of the gaps which didnt look right to me, then i realised i also had these which i had no idea where they went, and it didnt show them in the book, i dont think
viking
and realised that the holes in one of them corresponded with the gap, so im guessing they go in there so it will be channel out and get that in, there was only 2 so im guessing the other is for the N/S, and im also guessing the the other side of the window behind drivers seat doesnt have anything . ditchman
if you make a hash of doing the windows....you will have to give yourself a "severe warning letter"...........cause if you cant do it nobody can do it....... if you hoisted the landrover 1000ft up a skyscraper...you would get the hang of it... Mightymariner
This project looks fantastic. You have taken dedication to a new level, and you have documented it all. I have a friend who has a Series 3, CSW, V8 petrol in his barn, halfway through restoration.....it will be some vehicle when finished... Lord O War
I think the L shaped brackets on the top left are the ones in the pic below. They are fitted to the bottom of the side panel about in the middle. Mine are still fitted and they make them a pain to store.
Lord O War
the top bracket ....i think will go on the rear bulkhead behind the seats to hold a jack in place or a tool kit....dont know about the others.. or is it the bracket for the ballast resistor for the glow plugs, is this one even diesel? I've completely lost who is doing what with all the threads I keep reading
viking
i knew the little brackets were for the sides there obviously still to go on, im more wondering what the long ones on the right of the picture are for, had a look through my book earlier couldnt find them in the body section, the search continues, and yes it is a diesel
