rained off this afternoon again so an afternoon in the bat cave, the joys of working outdoors :good::good:

decided to try get the mud shield/splash and steering box on today, bloody have work on your own, getting it in place, holding it in place, trying to reach inside to hold the bolt in the hole whilst pressing mud splash on to the bolt then trying to get a washer and nut on at the same time, to for ever :no:

invented a special tool to help hold the bolt in place whilst i held shield and put the bolts on :good::good:

i dont know if im just shocking, or because its cos im only using Co2 or **** scrap metal, or whether my welder isnt set up properly,

lee thats not too bad for a first try..... :good::good:

the best way is to just keep on mucking about....change the wire speed change the amps...change your speed......and you will soon find out what the "balance" is....

He's only welding like that so he an use his favourite 'screwdriver' to remove the slag
